Glacial RX™ is here at LeClairé Skincare!

Glacial RX™ is here at LeClairé Skincare!

Living in California, we are constantly outside in the sun. Unless you are Kim Kardashian in her famous full bodysuits, there is a high chance that we are exposing ourselves to sun damage every day.

When our bodies are exposed to UVA/UVB rays, the skin produces extra pigment to protect us (tanning). This extra pigment is called melanin. When we get a tan, this excess pigment eventually fades, but over time, if we produce too much melanin, spots linger and will not disappear on their own.

If you find yourself struggling with sunspots, inflammation, rosacea, uneven skin tone, or melasma, we NOW have the ultimate treatment for you.

Glacial Rx™ is the first FDA-approved treatment to use patented cooling technology (Cryomodulation™) to treat and brighten skin. It is unlike anything else on the market right now and truly is the next revolution in CryoAesthetics™! Anyone of all ages can benefit, and is safe for use on both face and body.

Like we said above, Glacial Rx™ uses Cryomodulation™ to effectively and comfortably improve the appearance of skin conditions such as age spots and address redness or inflammation. Simply put, Cryomodulation™ uses the power of cold to provide suppression of the production of melanin – which is the root cause of discoloration. In addition, the cooling process delivers a refreshing sensation while reducing redness and inflammation and accelerating exfoliation to reveal brighter, more radiant skin.

What You Should Expect During Treatment

During the procedure, no topical numbing or anesthesia is required. This treatment is designed to be comfortable and pleasant. Our Esthetician's will apply a cold plate to the treatment areas for about 15 to 20 seconds per area. The cooling hand-piece reduces redness and puffiness as it gently moves across your face, clearing the way for your skin to better absorb potent topicals containing clinically proven actives. Serums containing protective antioxidants and brightening agents are then applied to shield your skin from environmental aggressors!

The entire treatment takes less than an hour. There is no downtime after treatment and you can immediately return to work and regular activities. The treatment can also be applied at any time of the year, unlike some laser treatments.

What You Should Expect Post-Treatment

You should notice fading around 1-2 months after the treatment - sometimes even sooner! You might need more than one treatment to erase the age spots for especially dark spots or large treatment areas. Adopting the habit of using sunscreen and minimizing sun exposure will help prolong your Glacial Rx results.

Over time, melanin levels can increase with greater sun exposure, but the good news is that Glacial Rx treatments have no limit to the number of safe treatments.

In clinical trials, 93% of patients say they saw an improvement of their spots after two months, and 90% reported that their skin was brighter and more even after one month!
